With this economic model, not a chance in hell.
The whole system is rigged to accumulate wealth at the top, with early adopters, severely disincentivising new users.
If some radical changes are not made in the way upvotes, flags etc work Steem is bound to become a bot infested hell right out of Terminator.

    It can’t be fixed because to fix it would require throwing away the rewards system, because it has no possible solution for fairness.

    I have written a point-by-point rebuttal of @‍jerrybanfield’s incorrect propaganda campaign.
