Vanilla was the best, but BC was also pretty amazing! I've been playing on and off since day 1 - Legion (current xpac) is pretty awesome for PvE content, which I've normally completely ignored since I'm a PvP whore. But with being able to increase the difficulty on dungeons/raids drastically, it makes it way more interesting and exciting.
