Looc Bay Refuge and Marine Sanctuary

This is a beautiful little sanctuary to swim with the fishes... I was not on any serious snorkeling or diving trips, but this was basically the only place I saw a fish in the Philippines, I'm sure in Palawan or more touristic areas than Luzon and Tablas you can find many more, but it added color and some life to my trip and that made me happy.

This beautiful little place is the office where you can find a boat to the sanctuary.

Here is your trusty ride.

Since it is all inside the bay the trip is smooth and uneventful.

Approaching floating observatory and tiny lighthouse.

Really I'm not sure why there is a lighthouse, maybe it's too shallow and ships need to go around that area, maybe to attract ships into the safe haven at night, maybe both?

Docking is easy and then its down the stairs or a graceful belly flop into the water and you'll be swimming with the fishes... literally, don't worry.
