I haven't played my placement matches for Overwatch yet. Yeah the wildlife parks are what we have here and you can see the tame animals we have. Going out in the wild is going to the outback, which is anywhere but the coast.

The wildlife parks have kangaroos just chilling in the open spots for you to go up to, never go up to one in the wild if you want to live. :P but going around the aussie outback is great. I haven't done it myself, but have gone along highways where it's all open.
