While i think you have some points, i have to disagree with "education is a story". I could see that argument being made about history, but not something like mathematics or science. The whole point of math/science is to teach the student through understanding, not blindly believing all you're told, that's precisely why there are labs associated, so you can see the theory/laws in action. Obviously, this isn't something that can be done with history, and history is always written by the victors, but you might want to be careful about using that broad stroke of "education is a story". Education, in essence, isn't supposed to teach a person WHAT to think, but rather to provide the student with a set of tools to understand and decide what to think themselves. Even still, that aspect could be warped, but the repeatably (scientific method) of things makes it pretty hard to skew things too much. Sort of like flat earth theorists, there are any number of simple physic experiments one could perform on the surface of the Earth that would prove it is in fact a globe, like all celestial bodies.

I stick with what I said as I feel that the education system is just an indoctrination system with a deep underlying story even with the sciences.
However I do agree that it is possible to actually learn something "real" in the education system and that it is possible that education can actually take place in relevant ways.
I just know for a fact its easy and natural to learn math without having to be "educated". Math and science can be explored and learned without all the rules and brainwashing.
