Who's in for some summer vibes in April?
This has been a quite long and tough winter for me. I haven't been surfing for three months now due to some breathing issues. What a sacrifice!
Step by step I'm feeling better, and being outdoors at the beach really helps me to recover more quickly. So give me two more weeks of relaxation and I may be able to catch the first waves of the season.
Now the best medicine is still: ice cream at the beach!
Belief: If you don't have ice cream, then you don't have ice cream :-)

I'd love to see a little sunshine here in England soon. It's not freezing by any stretch of the imagination, but I certainly can't get a tan in this weather!

Did you see I'm WHITE as well? :-) It was my first beach day since December, so I've got a long way in front haha. Last year at this point in time I was already much more tanned.

It's true. As soon I my skin feels the sun....I relax. I can almost feel that connection.
I am in Southern Ontario Canada....so yes, we border the US and that nasty ice storm. Can you imagine? Mid April? ugh.
I'm going to watch movies and drink tea and enjoy the warmth of a home. I can't imagine the homeless - I am grateful for my warm bed and roof over my head especially at times like this.
The wind last night was so forceful that it felt like our house was rocking. It wasn't, not really.
So enjoy your beautiful warm beach...and continue recovering. There are a lot of wonderful books to read in the meantime :)

Yes it is tough being away from the beach for long periods of time for me too. I live in Thailand so I get to go to the beach year round so never too long being away. What was the beach you visited please?
