Aron is the name of a small village located 30 km southeast of Lhokseumawe, where the first natural gas well was invented by Mobil Oil Indonesia Inc., PERTAMINA's shareholder contractor, in 1971. The name of this small village was immortalized as the Arun natural gas field name and the name of the refinery disbursement company natural gas, namely PT. Arun NGL in Lhokseumawe, North Aceh.
