Today marks the 14th anniversary of Marvin Heemeyer's final straw rampage in a home-made tank in Granby, CO. Why did he do it? Was he nuts? Not likely. Heemeyer left behind self-recorded tapes that tell his side of the story. While many may think he had a screw loose, it seems much more accurate to conclude that he was generally a reasonable and peace-loving man that had simply been pushed too far by a corrupt and immoral local government.
