I've been painting more and more. I'm not doing it everyday yet, but I'm at least pulling out the brush a few times a week. Lately, I've been painting on objects and that seems to be more fun then just painting on a canvas. It's certainly not easier. You really have to think about the material you're painting on and what type of paint to use. I found myself using oils on a pair of canvas Vans and I thought, "shit, how long will this take to dry?" I later added liquids to help with the drying process, but then I thought, "will that seal this shoe so it's not breathable?" I'm sure most people wouldn't care about those things, but these are the thoughts that pop into my head when I'm painting on stuff like this.
