This brought a smile to my face. Decades ago I was fishing a farm pond with my nephew who honestly looked a lot like that. Shaggy straight blondish hair. He had a pole my brother got for him that came in a package with a plastic fish attached to the line. A toy, not a real rod. But we took off the fish and put on a hook and caught a grasshopper and he was fishing while my brother milked cows. Suddenly, the bobber disappeared and the pole bent almost in half. I panicked thinking his new pole would break and just told him to run... The cheap reel wouldn't crank at all. He ran until he pulled a 6 pound catfish up onto the shore. I caught nothing, and I don't think he ever fished again. He'd worn that sport out.
