This site seriously lacks funny and insightful comments, but I think that's something that will take care of itself over time. So far I've seen the same ~six people posting really short comments, fishing for those sweet, sweet internet points.

The thing about karma (or in this case steem) is that you usually get it when you're least expecting it. Hopefully steemit users figure that out, because right now the level of engagement is insane (96 views; 24 comments? WHAT?!).
