Yeah had to set a limit. People were uploading very large GIFs, some over 100 MB. That slows the website down for everyone.
Better to upload videos than GIFs. They get transcoded and are smaller and have a higher quality.
If I can I will try to work on a solution that makes uploading larger GIFs possible.
