I don't know if something so simple and direct needs to be digested beforehand by a third party. The clear and concise way it presents the subject of man's nature needs only be absorbed by the reader itself, or you shouldn't undertake putting the knowledge of this tome to any application if you cannot realize it's multifaceted applications first-hand. I haven't bothered to click on the video simply because it's "history" channel and they would probably phrase this only in terms of actual warfare, and granted would forego the rudimentary question of the legitimacy of this warfare this knowledge is to be applied to, and this knowledge isn't only about warfare strategy, but it can be extended to all kinds of opponents and adversaries, both real and make believe, both for fun or for survival and utilized to secure a favorable outcome.

I like the documentary because it breaks down the historical context, of the warring states of Wu and Chu, and how, with Sun Tzu's tactics, the smaller state of Wu was able to whomp some ass against the much larger force of Chu. While the book itself possesses great knowledge, I also place worth on how it came to be.

Yeah, History Channel has some iffy things, but every now and again they pump out something worthwhile and actually educational.
