A day at the vet!

Today, I went with @tarc (@rhondak and Catherine) to our vet with Boomer, Charlotte, Muxxy and Carol! We got heart worm testing for two (Muxxy and Carol are babies and too young) and we got health certificates for their trip Friday to VT! Wooo!

Now, I only had my poopy cell phone (which is terrible for pictures), but Friday I plan to bring my DSLR to take transport pictures. Everyone will be bathed then and not covered in vomit from being car sick. ;) We also had a reunion between Cleo and Charlotte, who lived together until Cleo had to go in for surgery and has been at the vet's for recovery. Alas, it only lasted a minute, as the vet went to pick Cleo up and sit down with her, Cleo got jealous of Charlotte being near and wanted to fight. Charlotte told her unpleasantly that 'she wasn't the same dog she used to know' and that was that. rip doggo friendship. (This is normal dachshund behavior, so Cleo wasn't acting outside for the breed's stereotypical behavior about people lol).

So now! Pictures!

Carol (who is the sister of Muxxy):

The only picture of Muxxy that isn't a complete blur is him chewing on my hand. Every other picture you couldn't even see his face, just a black blur:

Boomer! In the second picture, he was sitting waiting for one of the assistants or the vet to open the door so he could bolt. He managed to escape once. It was much more interesting with cats, more people, and other dogs back that way.

These are great. The blurriness only captured the mood. LOLOL!

Very wiggly! My phone has a habit of making pictures blurry. I hate using it for pictures, but it's also hard to pack around a DSLR everywhere. Particularly with wiggly dogs. lol

Touch is the first sense the dog develops. The entire body, including the paws, is covered with touch-sensitive nerve endings.

Oh that Muxxypup, he's such a joker. I wonder where he gets it from...

Yeah... I had to tell him to cut it out because he decided to start using his molars. -.-
