Hello everyone! Meet Benny. He's my new dog that I got last month. He's a Pitbull mix, and is 2, years old.
My old dog, Shelby, was a great dog, but she had some flaws. She loved my mom, but she was very aggressive to everyone else. When she was nice, she was great, but when she was bad, she was really bad.
Last October, she got out of the house right when an old lady was nearby, and she scratched her. To avoid getting sued, we had to put her to sleep.
But Benny is 10 times better, and I know we're going to have a lot of great times together.

I know, and it's for good reason! Dogs are loyal, trusting, helpful, and just overall great animals. They are the perfect candidate for domestication at the time. They're the best animal to use to help with farming and/or hunting. They're carnivores anyway, and us humans have bred different dog breeds for different purposes.
Benny is a terrier, and terriers were made to catch small rodents. I happen to have a mouse problem in my house, and whenever Benny sees a mouse, he goes right at it and tries to kill it. He's amazing.

We put her down. Humane euthanasia. I wouldn't slaughter the poor dog if that's what you're thinking.
