This morning my human's friend brought her Belgian Shepherd. You know, it's Friday and I've missed him, especially since before Covid he used to be around me so much and he came to play like 3-4 times a week while our humans had a conversation or played board games.
But not so much now, my human's friend had a bad time with work during the covid times and now she doesn't have much time to come play with my human, so my Belgian Shepherd friend doesn't come either.
But when he does, we have a lot of fun, we fight like dinosaurs, we play hide and seek, runaway is our favorite hobby (where one of us runs from the other and when she touches her, it's the other way around), we dig holes together and sometimes she teaches me some old dog tricks, one of them is to pay attention and wait for human treats.
This morning our humans where having cookies and coffee in the balcony where they can watch us play and we can see them have human fun (because it's not real fun, it's just sitting around and talking, how boring can it be?). Anyway so we noticed they had cookies so we both went as close as we could and began staring at them with a puppy face, licking our noses and trying to get a treat for us.
I mean, what do they think? That only humans like treats? No no, we dogs also love them, especially when they are sugary. My human's dad says she shouldn't give me sweets because they are bad for me, and he is wise so he must be right, but how is something so delicious supposed to be bad for me?
I think he is wrong, I think sweet treats are great for me, and I'm a dog, I know what's yummy and delicious for dogs, not him.
So here we were waiting for our treat... after several human minutes passes (human minutes go by slower, they take so much time to do things, I think time goes by differently for them) they yielded and gave us a cookie each!! Yumm
