A chihuahua has very low grooming maintenance but it's still something that needs to be done at least monthly! I groom my boy roughly once a week so his skin and coat stays healthy. This also includes trimming of the nails, teeth brushing, anal gland expression, and occasional ear cleaning although his ears stay pretty clean.
He also sheds a ton so I give him a good deshed every couple of months or so. Below are a few pictures from his spa day.
So much hair off such a little guy!
The teeth brushing should have been the first picture since he still had his collar on, oh well.
