Well, after a 2.5 hour flight and another 1.5 hour dive I am home from Arizona. For those that followed along, thanks!
I am trying to figure out if posting daily is really worth the time and I am leaning towards giving up on STEEM. Don't get me wrong, I love you! It's just so obvious that the last fork really fucked the shit outta this platform for the blue-collar bloggers.
I'd love to discuss it with one of the five people left here that post daily.
The struggle is real. There used to be days when I would stress about getting a post out, but I don't really care now. I've posted a few musings that I've been... well, musing about. Other than that, I don't really care. The people are still cool, but Steem sucks. Newsteem sucks even more. It's hard to be excited about something when it's causing so many of your friends so much grief.
I know there will be some who say the situation has changed and we have to adapt, but is it really worth our time? I was considering making my first Steem purchase from fiat, but I don't know it will go back up. I could be wrong and time will tell, but when the dollars are flowing out of fiat an into anything else, how likely is it that Steem will be one of those assets?

I love your musings @themanwithnoname! I also agree about the new fork, it has fucked STEEM beyond repair. I do like most of the people here and it is fun interacting with folks but there are so few left and you are right, it is sad and upsetting to see friends getting hurt. I'm pretty sure the end is neigh.

If you take a look at by account you will see we are both of the same thought. With the new little one my time is even more precious and the hit on payments as well as New steem being a circle jerk of pure hypocrites makes it an easier choice.
I still want to post but they just have broken my enthusiasm.

I wouldn’t call my lack of posting giving up on steem. Maybe it’s more being realistic about the time investment vs lack of reward? Or more having nothing to say every day? I don’t know... 🤣😂🤣 #shitcomment

I just can't figure out why whales would do this??? If they wipe us out, and the price of Steem goes down more, how do they profit??
Don't they realize that they are killing the platform that they are using to profit from?
