Hello, I'm developer of Arikado gridcoin pool. Now I'm testing payouts in alternative currencies for BOINC work, i.e. I receive gridcoin for yours completing BOINC tasks, convert them in other currencies and payout to you.
What is gridcoin
Gridcoin is cryptocurrency that rewards users for doing BOINC calculations for some projects. For technical details you can visit https://gridcoin.us/ and https://www.gridcoinstats.eu/
Gridcoin is not very profitable, but it uses your CPU and GPU for scientific tasks. Also if you already participating BOINC for free you can receive some compensation for electricity.
Why dogecoin
Because I have them, prices are pretty similar, and I like dogecoin community. Also tx fee is not to high.
How much you can receive and when
Gridcoin rewards are slowly rise and slowly fall (they using exponentially weighted moving average). You need about two weeks of participating to reach your peak income. And if you stop, you will still rewarded for some time.
I receive gridcoin rewards when my coins stake (it called DPoR, distributed proof of research). It takes from 2 to 5 days now. When this happens, I calculate rewards for users and store rewards to public table (payouts section on pool site).
For dogecoin payout limit is 102 dogecoins for now. You receive 100 dogecoins, 1 dogecoin is tx fee and 1 dogecoin for exchange fees (somewhere about).
CPU and GPU projects
Some projects has GPU workunits, some only CPU workunits. If you attach to GPU project without proper GPU, your rewards will be low.
GPU projects for now:

Some configurations
Please note, rewards can vary from project to project, and there is no precise formula. There is peak rewards, that reached after about two weeks:
- Raspberry Pi 2: ~1.5 DOGE/day
- Macbook Air (2012): ~5 DOGE/day
- PC with Xeon E5420 and GTX 560Ti: ~15 DOGE/day
Just interesting information: lowest rewards currenly for SETI@home.
Exchange rate and fees
I got exchange rate from poloniex using API. Exchange rate is:
DOGE/GRC = (BTC/GRC (lowest_ask + hightest_bid)/2) / (BTC/DOGE (lowest_ask + hightest_bid)/2)
Conversion rate stored in table every time I stake.

Gridcoin is an open source cryptocurrency (Ticker: GRC) which securely rewards volunteer computing performed upon the BOINC platform in a decentralized manner on top of proof of stake. BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing) is a distributed Internet platform launched beginning of 2002 and rewards participants with credits for performed work. BOINC is an application available for multiple Operating Systems and utilises the unused CPU and GPU cycles on computers to perform scientific work.

Looks like only one new registered DOGE user stop trying to participate. Is that user you? What's happend?

Suggestion:
Maybe there could be a leaderboard for the pool that ranks your position among users of the pool. That would be interesting to see.

I can do that, but currently even top 20 leaderboard will contain all users :)
