I would like to start my blog with a post about my first trip to the animal shelter.
The weather was incredibly warm and sunny but since the shelter is located next to the sea it was also a little bit windy. It was the first time ever visiting the shelter so i was really exited.
We stepped into the building and were welcomed by the workers and a cat who lives there so he could walk around there almost freely. After that we asked for two dogs so we could go for a walk with them. Sadly not all dogs get along and the one whom was walked by my friend the last time just had a surgery so we couldn't have him. Instead we were given a black 9year old dog named Tobi. 20180509_150236.jpg
He was really sweet and ready to go for a walk. So after he was handed to us, we headed out and went for a walk in to the forest next to the sea. At first there was only a muddy path but after we got the chance to continue on a boardwalk. 20180509_145210.jpg

While we were walking in the forest we spotted a lot of remains of different buildings and a platform which is meant for birdwatching.

It felt so good to walk there with a dog, especially him. He was very friendly, wanted us to scratch him and wasn't scared of us at all. I will definitely go there again sometimes and maybe in the future even get myself a dog from there. :)

Starting off strong! Taking time to work with animals without an owner really takes a big heart. You seem to have one! Keep the good posts coming!

I have loved animals my whole life and thank you for the kind comment! :)
