Having adopted a rescue dog recently, I have been thinking of animal shelters a lot. The Emma Animal Rescue Society (TEARS) is just a kilometer away from my house and they are collecting gift boxes for the animals there at Christmas. Among the food and toys, I have included a tiny canvas board painting. I fell for a little dog named Hilton (his previous owners called him 'Paris' but the staff at TEARS thought the heiress's surname would suit him better).
He had a great time playing with Delcie. In spite of having only 3 legs, he is very fast and confident. I painted him as a gift to the staff or his potential new owner. I hope he gets a home soon.
