Firework night, did the thunder jacket work or will I be going for a refund?

We bought a thunder jacket from our local pet shop after hearing that they hug your dog when they get anxious, fireworks, noises etc. We thought this was worth a go as my furbaby Mika suffers really bad when the fireworks are going off.. I wrote a post a few days ago, here us the link:

This costs £35 but they do say that if it doesn't work you have a 45 days period where you can return it for a full refund.

She has wore it everyday since we bought it but took it off for bedtime as the jacket is pretty tight, didn't want her to be uncomfortable whilst in bed. We have had fireworks for a few days now, she has still barked and panicked but hasn't ran around, the jacket seems to have kept her in one place, we have still had to hug her and try to keep her focus away from the next bang.

Tonight has been really bad as there are fireworks displays all around us, we have shut ourself's into the back room where the TV is m we have turned the TV up to try and drown out the noise. Me and hubby have taken turns on holding her, we have had to hold her close and comfort her. We thought we would try it without the Jacket but soon put it back on as then she started darting all over the place. We got her back on our knee talking to her and stroking her head to calm her.

Spending £35 for this I would say hasn't been a really, as before I bought this I used a long scarf that got the same reaction, here is a post about the Anxiety wrap that I wrote earlier.

I think we will be returning this tomorrow and go back to using the scarf and we get the same reaction, no point wasting £35 if it doesn't do the job we wanted. We were hoping for a quieter evening as it states on the box Barking Problems She will have a sore throat the amount she has barked.

If your going to try this I would try the scarf first to see if you get a change, you never know it could help.
