Hello Steemers my name is Geordie, I am @karenb54's furbaby, I am the good looking one the Jack Russel.

ME GEORDIE

I used to live with another family, the man used to keep me in a cage outside, we would go hunting, he would send me down the holes to get the rabbits. I hated it, I just wanted to be loved. When my new family came for me my new sister Nichola picked me up and cuddled me, I froze I didn't know what was happening but I really liked it. When we got to there home they had a little bed for me and lots of stuffed toys to play with but what I really loved best was that they gave me treats, I only used to get 1 meal a day now I get a meal a day plus treats I LOVE IT I get so many loves now and never have to sleep in that horrible cold cage.

I am now 10 years old that makes me 70 in dog years, I am getting old but still feel like a pup. As you can see from my handsome picture I have funny legs, they are called Queen Ann legs, they are shaped wrong, they have been like this since I was a puppy. I don't like people touching them as it makes me jump but sometimes when I am sleeping my mum strokes them which I don't mind.

When I first came here they had this big handsome dog, he was so big I could walk under him, He was called Sheara a German Shepherd, we didn't get on at first but soon started to bond and became brothers, every now and again he would let me hump his back leg. Sadly we lost him over 7 years ago, we all miss him a lot.

SHEARA

I was by myself for a while, I used to get all the attention until 3 years ago they got a sexy red head, she was a bit grumpy at first but soon realised we all loved her then she settled in. Her name is Mika, she is a lot of fun but can be very noisy. She loves to be cuddled just like me so its a race to get on mums knee first, now I am getting older jumping up is a little harder, dad picks me up when I can't manage.

MIKA

When we lie on mum's knee we are there for ages and get lots of tummy rubs and scratches but dad gets jealous, he keeps saying "I have a spare knee here for a pup" but he is always up and down getting a can of beer or needing the toilet so mum is the best place to be.

We go to bed with mum as dad takes to long, means we can get the best spots and stretch out before dad comes, he never moves us, he loves to see us happy. Mum likes to take treats to bed for all her furbaby's, she will give the Rats and Hamster there treats first then comes in with our custard creams. We always get a last cuddle and scratch before we all settle down. I like to get under the quilt in between mum and dad, I do prefer to sleep next to dad most as he likes to keep the quilt on but mum gets to hot so pushes it away. I like to be warm.

Well its been lovely talking to you but it is now bedtime, yay custard cream time.

Thank you @son-of-satire

Hey, Geordie! It was nice of your Mum to let you use her computer to write to us. It's a lovely story. I like treats too and custard cream is my favourite. So, off to bed with you and sleep well!

Lol he has listeneď to you now stretched out sound asleep :)

Beautiful dog

Thank you :)

Awwwww beautiful fur-babies!! All of them. I have two rescued fur-babies. Sweetie is in doggie-heaven since September 2, soon is going to be 2 months(still hurts) she was 14 years old Labrador Mix, and Cubby he is a 12 years old Labrador Retriever.
Sorry for your loss.

And yours :( its so sad when they go they leave a massive hole.

Aww, such pretty babies :) Love them!

They are and were. Sheara is a big miss

I know how painful it is. I have one wiener dog now but always, always miss the ones that have gone on before <3 When they leave us, they leave us sadder but richer for having had them in our lives.

They should last as long as us, live such a short life but give so much :)

So true..they love more, forgive more and care more than most humans!

And so much nicer than most humans :)

yes, that's so true lol.

Very adorable dogs. Touching story for Geordie. I'm sure he's having a great retirement.

He seems too be enjoying his golden years lol :)

Hello Geordi :-) What a handsome boy you are!

So nice of you Karen to make him happy and loved.

Have a lovely day!

Its My pleasure I love him to bits :)

Awww hi Geordie! Thank you for telling us about your beautiful family, I am sure you are much happier on your mum's knee than down those rabbit holes! Thank goodness you found her! I have lots of Furkids too and I am sure they have a tale or two to tell, I'm sure when they get a bit better at typing, they will write to you and share their adventures! :D Lots of love and belly scratches xx

I cant wait to hear more about your furbabies. My mum treats us like her babies, and i love my life now its warm and cuddly :)

What an intelligent dog, no typing errors that you would expect from a jack russel, because they are usually too busy being somewhere else all the time.
After a rough start, you sure have found paradise, having a warm bed, especially at winter time, and treats to go to bed with, and as many cuddles/scratches, as you want, it must be paradise.
Are you two doge going to hog the keyboard? or do the Rats and Hamster get a chance to tell their story for us?

My mum teaches me, she doesn't like spelling mistakes, not sure the rats or hamster know what a keyboard is there to busy running around to concentrate :)

It is suprising what the smaller, lessor can do, afterall, who expected you and Mika to use a keyboard.
Next cuddle session with Mum, suggest to her that evev if the rats or hamster whisper in her ear and she types, no bad spelling then, we could meet some more of the family.
You could even convince the slave to do a word or two, not to many, he may mistkenly tell the truth.

Hahahahaha if dad used the keyboard we would be here for weeks, he can't use it not like me and Mika, mum trained us but dad is untrainable,

Treat dad like the hamster, have him whisper the story into mum's ear so she can do the typing.
Get him to a series on " the first....." pick up, date, kiss, .... wedding, kid, etc

Noooo going to relive that hahah

Chicken!!!!

Yup :)
