First dog client is coming over today.

It's scheduled to be a 5-day, 4-night booking.

My rate right now on Rover is $30/day. Rover takes a cut of the money, and after their fee, I'm looking to collect $120.

Not bad for hanging out with a dog.

Butterflies are mounting. A little, anyways. It's always weird doing something for the first time. I've babysat for dogs before, but it seems a bit different when I already know the dog and know the person.

My biggest concern probably has to do with if she's a barker.

Obviously, biting me and being a bad dog would be an even bigger issue. I just don't think it's likely.

Not listening to commands or even peeing on the floor is fine. You just work around it and clean it up. But barking can be really annoying and potentially could draw complaints from the neighbors.

I don't know what kind of breeds my apartment allows and as far as I know my doggy guest is a Staffordshire terrier and is not 50% pit bull 😉😉😉

so hoping to fly under the radar and make everything work.

Doggy guest is a beauty. Can't wait to meet her.
