The best dog toy of ALL TIME. Just kidding, I’m sure there are other fantastic dog toys but this is the best one we have come across so far. Our dogs like to destroy everything. They love, love, love to chew. Stuffed animals get torn apart in seconds. I’ve never even tried a rope toy, if they consume pieces it can wrap around their intestines. (my MIL is a former vet tech, she has LOTS of horror stories) We’ve even tried the firehose toys! Sure, the firehose is durable but the little appendages they add and the stitching are not.
This basically leaves kong and other brands like them. We’ve had a few kong toys for years. A couple balls and a Frisbee and our dogs have never damaged one. But they don’t really play with them. We have yet to teach them fetch so the balls are just for treats in their kennels. Titan will occasionally chew on the Frisbee and run around with it but again doesn’t know how to fetch…..Recently they decided that the blankets in their kennels would make the perfect toys. They kept removing them to play tug of war so I went on amazon looking for a tug of war toy that wasn’t made of rope. I ordered this one.
Not only do our dogs LOVE it but it’s also BPA free. They however do not play tug of war with it. They can’t seem to figure it out. Mostly they run around with it or lay there chewing on it. Apparently, they don’t know how to dog. We will be ordering another one so they stop trying to steal it from each other!!
It's surprising to find animals that can't Animal sometimes. Our ducks couldn't figure out the pond until the older ducks showed them how. And our cat is currently reliving the Matrix since we slowly transitioned him to being an outdoor cat (he's doing really well, but it's so funny to see what still surprises him OH MY GOSH LEAVES WHAT ARE THEY).
I didn't realize that rope toys could be so dangerous! I'm sure the list of awful stories from your MIL has been very educational and helpful. Worst story I ever heard was about a dog that ate magnets off the fridge and they adhered to each other in the intestines!

ugh that's awful. Pretty much any toy is dangerous when not being supervised cause dogs like to eat everything but going with something more durable from the get go is just plain smart! Poor kitty haha. I've never transitioned an indoor cat to outside I bet that is hysterical

We have one of these toys! We have probably had it for almost 2 years and it has yet to be destroyed. We have 9 dogs, with two of them being large breed pups who make it look like a bomb went off in my yard with every toy I try...except this one. This one takes a beating and keeps on keepin' on!!

That's an endorsement if I've ever heard one!! 2 years and 9 dogs is impressive! Have you tried any of their other toys? I'd like to replace our kong balls (we put peanut butter in the treat hole). All their stuff seems to be designed for kibble like treats
