Why I haven't tried skijoring

@steevc suggested in another post that I could get dogs to pull me along on snow. I don't have a pic myself, but this is called ski-jooring, and is a popular activity in my area.

Pictured below is me completing my fastest ever 5k. With Datsun, the borrowed dog, pulling me along I was first overall.

Even though he had a laugh by making me stop to scoop a poop in front of the Legislative Assembly building.

As you can see, I'm in full flight, nearly in danger of bursting a blood vessel.

Datsun was walking slightly faster than normal, and bored

When I consider how much he pulled (LOVED PULLING) and how fast he is, it seems a bit unsafe to try it on xskis.

Maybe I should try with my own dog...

fasted 5K you say...maybe I need to borrow someones dog as well.

To clarify - Datsun was fasted (at least for the last half) I fuelled normally. :) I was fastest, but that had little to do with my state of fastness.
