What's the deal with labradors and toys? Beware of the problems that they can get into while playing

in dogs •  7 years ago  (edited)

I think that every Lab owner noticed their love for balls and everything that jumps or bounces. My question is "How can this be dangerous for them?"
I once heard someone who lost his Lab after a surgery because the dog, in his whole 5-6 year life , ate more than 20 socks ,socks that finally formed a big ball in his dog's stomac. YES SOCKS! Me and my girlfriend took our dog to the vet few years ago because she ate a small rubber ball and the doc had to pump her stomac with oil . So please watch close every toy that you give you dog to play with and make sure that it is big enough not to be swollen.FB_IMG_1498461329549.jpg
