Why is it so hard to look at our own shit?
I have changed a fair amount of shitty nappies in my life, to know that it is easier to look at other peoples shit, rather than my own.
It only seems fair to assume, that it is easier to judge the smell of another because often you are immune to your own stench.
Dogs have fun digging their noses in their own feces. Perhaps, we could learn from our canine friends and take pride and happiness, when digging deep beneath the surface of our own shit?
What am I trying to say.. well, one of my shortcomings is that I think I am entitled to fix anothers dilemma yet, I haven't been able to scoop through my own baggage and made sense of it.
I still carry old and unhealthy habbits and run habitual patterns, that stem from my childhood and which manifest my inner toddler on a daily basis. However, it is easier to point this out in others and then I fling my expectations through the atmosphere, only to find myself still stsnding knee deep in my own sludge.
Time to use the crappy times and habits as a fertilizer for flourishing seeds of a nurturing and happy existence.
What a time to be alive.
