#wolfdog - Dog stories

This morning I could not find the little boy.
It is still cold outside and there was ice on the windowscreen. I fed the dogs before I left. Like always mom was happy. Jumping up and down but it was silent.
I did not hear the pups. Where were they? They always make some noise like kittens and since a few days the little boy 'barks'.

The boy uses his sister for a pillow, frequently his tongue comes out.

I found the little girl kind of crawling around 1 stable further.
It looked as if she was moving in slow motion... mom did not really care. Well might be she called her, but she is still deaf.
I searched behind the piles of wood and pallets.. wondered if mom had him for breakfast or perhaps he crawled into the other direction and one of the males did?

The male Thor looked at me and behaved sweet (do not let yourself fooled by him).
He is the one that does listen the best to commands but very dominant to the others. I lately noticed one of them is afraid of him. He only dares to pass by if I walk next to him and protect him.
Actually I want Thor to be castrated, but I can not get him into the car and the vet is afraid of him (most dogs by the way).

Thor isn't the greatest looking dog around, nor the luckiest one if it comes to his health. As a pup he had a huge bump in his neck. The vet said it was not painful to him, I was sure it was.
According to the vet the bump had to be cut out. I did not and it healed within a few weeks time.

He also has a tearing eye. The eyedrops did nothing it was just a waste of money. I informed at 2 vets for a solution, since there is no guarentee of success I decided to safe him the stress.

Flies seem to love to eat his ears. No matter what I use it does not help.

Finally the little boy was found.
He was asleep in a dark corner, clearly did not feel the need to crawl around or bark. For some reason the two pups are only close if I put them in the box. If I do so they sleep for at least 5 hours.
If they make some noise it does not sound different from babies. Each has its own voice.
