US President Donald Trump reacted after a bloody attack in New York where eight people and more than 10 injured were killed.
The attack occurred when a pickup truck entered a pedestrian and cycling trail in Manhattan, colliding with them.
The assault author has been killed by the police, while authorities are linking the attack to terrorism.
"In New York, there appears to have been another attack by a sick and unbalanced person. Investigators are following this case closely, "Trump wrote on Twitter.
