Maybe it's a good thing that Trump becomes president.
Hear me out!
For the longest time, Americans have been criticized for not caring about the important things in life, and I mean really important things. Compare our best efforts to the likes of the Arab Spring, the revolution in Ukraine, the Middle East, a lot of European countries even. We're rather tame and our attention spans are mightily short.
Enter Trump. If he becomes president, things will get far worse than they are now. Just take a look at the shitshow that was the RNC if you need proof. Regardless, if he becomes president, it might spur the populace into real concrete action to enact change.
Meaningful change too. Not this bullshit change where they seemingly give you what you want, but as it turns out it has nothing to do with the issue or it has no teeth or they just try and reintroduce the same old shit once the populace has moved on. This is what we'll get if Clinton becomes president.
A "Democrat" infested by the allure of power, money, and greed.
Palpable change across the whole system what we need. What better catalyst than Trump?
Maybe people will finally wake up. Maybe they will finally realize that these things are important. That we owe it to our future generations.
