|| Remembering the Tragedy of Rohingya from Behind Refuge Camp ||
Nine months Maulana along with other Rohingya refugees live in the Integrated Community Shelter (ICS) ACT. Despite living in a refugee camp, his enthusiasm and determination upheld the Rohingyas through his continuing education.
Maulana then joined ACT volunteer who is in charge of coordinating and supervising education in the ICS-ACT refugee camp. He coordinates eight madrassas and two tahfiz houses that accommodate about 800 Rohingya students.
He is very grateful to God who has provided assistance through ACT. For the past nine months, Rohingya's children and teachers are not only financially and scientifically supported, but spiritually as well. This, according to Maulana, left a distinctive impression.
"The majority of us are Muslims. Alhamdulillah, ACT helps us meet our spiritual needs by providing mosques, madrassas, tahfiz houses, and others, "he said.
