A Dongle is a fungible or non-fungible token that can be used to access one of the Dongle Spaces, which collectively constitute a Dongle Community. One Dongle NFT has only one tag and gives access to only one of the Dongle Spaces. For example, a Dongle NFT with a “National Football League(NFL)” tag gives access to the NFL community. A Dongle Token which does not have a specific tag could be converted to a Dongle NFT with a randomly generated tag. If the owner of the Dongle NFT writes a post or comment, the data is stored in the Dongle NFT and owned by the owner.
Because one Dongle token is not distinguishable from another Dongle token, Dongle Tokens are fungible. They carry the same value because we do not know which tag each Dongle Token will have. Tags which will be attached after Dongle Tokens are converted to a Dongle NFT are randomly decided. The Dongle Token separates the concept of Dongle Community as a whole from each Dongle Space and adds another liquidity layer.
In contrast to a Dongle Token, a Dongle NFT with a tag has a different value from another Dongle NFT with a different tag, thus making it non-fungible. In the strict sense, a Dongle NFT can be fungible among the Dongle NFTs with the same tag, especially because the number of Dongle NFTs tends to be higher than that of other NFTs. However, considering the limited number of Dongle NFTs with the same tag, it is hardly conceivable that they can be utilized as, for example, a preferred medium of exchange. Besides, each Dongle NFT has a different activity log which can later add additional value to the Dongle NFT. Therefore, each Dongle NFTs could have a different value even among those with the same tags.
