Doodletrends Drawing Contest: Lonesome Mushroom

Hi my Steemit friends and Doodletrendistas,

Good day to you all. I am joining the Doodletrends Drawing Contest which is organized by @steempampanga. The theme or task challenge for today is Create a Lonesome Mushroom Character

Here is my official entry. I used a black permanent marker on scrap of paper in creating this art. Done in two minutes. Oh is that Unbelievable? I guess not why?. Anyone can actually create an art like this in that given amount of time. Just come prepared with an idea and go for it. It would not be helpful to think in front of the computer or drawing table so do that just before you start and if no better idea comes out. Have some rest and be right back. For me though, It was clear in my head that I am going to make something that is small in stature with elf like features. An elf is helpful for my idea because the mushroom cap would fit an elf cap perfectly. I love drawing the bulbous cap and its dots. The ears are added last and they gave my elf that cute appeal. Did he look lonesome to you? I think he is rather grumpy don't you think? Regardless if I hit the brief or not, I had a fun experience making my entry. Such a stress relief kind of activity that I do here on Steemit while taking a coffee break. I can not thank steempampanga enough for providing this kind of art activity that anyone can partake in.

I encourage you to participate as this art contest is basically open to all art enthusiasts no matter what level their skill could be. If you are new or looking for fun activity to engage in, this could be one of those.
