This afternoon while I was taking my breaktime, I open my Facebook app to scroll for funny videos or memes or videos about dog, a Dota live stream got my attention and it was a live stream match between GeekFam versus SGD Esports which is for the representative of South East Asia Region for the upcoming ESL Hamburg 2019. It was Game 1 and SGD Esports gaining momentum during the middle stage of the game for which the Night Stalker from the Dire team is dealing a huge problem for the Geekfam and the game went long because of the Night Stalker. Thankfully, Raven’s Slark was unkillable, SGD Esports wasn’t able to deal with that hero, every clash Slark will just hunt the support heroes of Boom Esports eventually disabling the chances of winning the game. The game was a bit challenging for Geekfam since their victory paved way when Boom committed some mistakes late in the game. And to sum up, GeekFam went on to take 2-0 win against SGD , since in Game 2, the game went one sided, with Raven’s Spectre hunting down the support heroes of Boom. Raven’s Spectre was so farmed and Ryoya’s Kunkka wasn’t struggling compared to what happen in Game 1 and finally, Kuku’s Centaur Warrunner was so crucial during that game. As of this moment, GeekFam is enjoying a 1-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Grand Finals versus the winner of Boom Esports and SGD Esports.
