This post is about last weeks GESC Dota 2 tournament minor.

Last week 8 teams participated in a DPC minor, The event was filled with surprises and wonderful games as Infamous, the South American side first time came in as top 4 and got there first DPC points ever, also there were some crazy back and forth games, especially the series between Fanatic and NAVI was the highlight for this event, to the people who missed this series you should go for the full replay, totally worth it.

EG was the only invited team, the rest qualified through a regional qualifier, but there were obviously some big names in them, Navi being one the biggest esports organisation, also The Final Tribe, DC were displaying a new roster, RRQ was the first Indonesian team to ever qualify for a minor.

The Group stages shaped out to be as everyone predicted, with EG and VGJ being the favourites each managed to be the top team in their groups, however, playoffs were a little different, Infamous defeated TFT in an exciting series and qualify for top 4, where they matched against VGJ, after a tough series they eventually lost to VGJ 2:1.
EG, however, were flaunt less in their performance as they qualified for finals after defeating Navi easily 2:0.

EG eventually went on to win the entire tournament as they defeated VGJ 2:0 in best of 3 and became the first NA side to win a DPC event, EG didn't lose a game in this tournament and had all of the three shortest game in the tournament. This was the first event that EG has won with their new roster and was a much needed win.
