Today, our data is collected, shared and even sold every day by major competitors in the transportation market, without us (consumers) ever being a part of any of this.
The idea behind Dovu is to create a circular economy that works for everybody, using data as fuel, and rewarding the people whose data is collected. This is done through blockchain technology by granting tokens to those who share their data with companies and institutions. The tokens could then be spent on services, such as paying for flights or riding the bus. Smart contracts would be the means through which agreements between organizations and individuals are made transparent and safe.
We had the privilege of interviewing Dovu’s Co-Founding member Arwen Smit to find out more about Dovu and their place in the blockchain and crypto world.
