But the automated votes on that post all come from people who are using my curation trailer.
Soooo you are actually admitting to circlejerking using a curation trail and automated posts ?
Even with Tombstones vote it's significantly less than $66 a day, and all from people who actively use my software...
and the votes on the proposal are mostly from people who use downvotecontrol, now what ?
so get bent
lol what ?
I have asked for significantly more funding to support building trustless third party smart contract platform instead of relying on aggroed inc to hold steemp. People just got upset about bidbots and maybe two people even tried to understand the concept with out leaving some kind of bidbot rage comment. As Steem sinks further in to altcoin hell it's becoming more and more apparent that it's the whales here chasing away developers, investment and clients.
Ah you're salty about your own proposal not recieving funding ? But how is that relevant to the current discussion ?
Your memory is terrible... There are now 27 voters on your proposal and you've exceeded the SP of Steemchillers voters... He has hundreds. Seems like the only people who care about downvote control are relatively massive accounts that would prefer to be involved in curating the least.
That is just not true. Those users are literally manually curating.
66SBD a day is about 10% less than 77SBD a day. And as we have seen above asking for funding is about the daily rate, not the time period asked for... as steemchiller likely won't receive any and you'll likely receive all.
Dude how is 66sbd a day for a month even remotely close to 75 sbd a day for a year ? Asking for funding is about the duration as well as the daily rate. When did we see above that daily rate is more important than daily rate + duration ?
To you a one day proposal that asks for 100 sbd is the same as a proposal that asks for 100 sbd every day for a year ?
Also I doubt steemchiller won't recieve funding, not all since he started his proposal at the same time as he published it. but I expect him to hit the threshold in the coming days.
Would you cancel your proposal if I open source coded it all for you?
That's a good one. I think I wouldn't because I spent a ton of time marketing it to get it to fund and I intent to code it myself. But you are free from making a counter proposal and get the community to unvote my proposal and vote yours instead.
sure as hell won't be getting any funding from the SPS despite literally inventing ways to distribute software via steem and IPFS, a WYSIWYG VR dApp builder, and having multisignature networks to control funds.
Again with the salt, this isn't related to this discussion.
So it seems to be around my daily rate of return here anyway, which is Southern California since you asked where I wouldn't take a dev job for less than 2k a week.
Ah that's interesting, how much do you pay for rent ?
The automated post has been going for several months averaging around 9 cents a day. With an automated upvote to pay for server time on the curation trail it works out to about $12 a month... Yay $5 profit. Tombstone blows the entirety of my little "circle-jerk" out of the water and I don't know why he is choosing to vote that content. Must be proof of brain. There has been a longstanding rule of thumb that one can vote on their own content once a day... I don't even do that. I can also lower the 25% auto vote to maintain just server costs... I guess profit isn't something we're concerned about here. Back to steemchiller it seems he needs to pay to put food on the table for his family, so his work here will always yield him less influence than powering up steem like you've been able to do. Stake in the network can only be purchased by investors and not earned by the determined... plutocracy, rent seeking. Which for me was $3,300 split two ways. My software has landed me consulting a top ten university and the IEEE for autonomous systems. Yet the entire "proof of stake" system here has been more concerned with straight up illegal(in the US) exchanges like steem-engine.
After you build this software will you submit more proposals for 66SBD a day or more? I have a solid feeling you will, so the length of time doesn't make a difference as you will continue to milk the SPS to increase your stake here. If steemchiller was funded I doubt he'd submit more proposals or try to increase the funding if the price of steem goes up. Right now 66SBD is pretty close to .4% of the overall inflation here. If the price goes to $1 it's much less... you'll be poised to continue to raise your "value" for further proposals.
The salt is relevant. Look around at the negative points of steem. It's an "exit scam" and something only well to do people can profit from. @blocktrades was paid a significant amount of money to build the SPS and there wasn't even a bid process for the work. Is it any wonder that they have one of the most powerful votes in the system they designed? Also you seem to be able to move a much smaller "community" of voters that are worth significantly more stake. You run the 23rd ranked witness and likely cycle in to the top 20. I've moved more voters on to my proposal than you have to yours... but with only 1/8th the SP. I don't have friends in "high" places as you've seemed to managed, then actively discourage smaller accounts from building here. Where as an distributed account creation network and multisignature fund ran by ad-hoc parties removes business from blocktrades and steem-engine.
It's all opensource. It's never been paid for. It hasn't gotten any acknowledgement "here". You're riding a mighty high horse. "Get bent" is a dismissive meaning these things aren't even in the same category of abuse. If the community wanted this proposal they would back you... Unfortunately I see significant stake holders wanted to increase their access to the reward pool by cutting down the smaller folk. I was excited about HF21, but the price keeps falling and the larger accounts have just gotten more righteous indignation down voting content making as little as 6 cents.
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
