Do you mind if Ned uses his Various Steemit inc upvotes even if it cuts everyone else's rewards, as long as the price goes up to offset this from due to new users and investors ?
Even if all of Ned's combined accounts were around half the total powered up steempower, Should Ned use his steemit inc account upvotes to give out a larger amount of substantial upvotes to new users? With the approaching @blocktrades hardfork to steem allowing for a Dpoll based worker proposal system that will take 10% from the 52% in the Author Reward pool, aprox a 20% decrease in funds given out directly to authors of posts and so I wonder if people care oor will even notice, or if a subsequent steem price increase could offset it so much that no one even notices. , I want to see how steem users feels about Ned spending or using his upvotes and if people are for it, against it, or if people think the price is too low for users to notice.
- Yes ned should have been using his own stake this whole time, the reward pool would have compensated from a higher price in steem from more interested users
- No, Ned using his own upvotes would take too much away from the reward pool
- It will have no effect on the reward pool either way (Because perhaps price is so low people won't even notice a change in rewards)
Answer the question at dpoll.xyz.
Is this 20% decrease a for sure thing that is coming soon or is it still a proposal?

From what I heart its pretty much a sure thing unless you can convince @ned and @blocktrades otherwise and honestly its great, we need to take money away from authro rewards going to the pockets of a bunch of sometimes lazy people doing Nothing, and sorry but thats so true when u compare that money funding the sorts of projects that could benefit steem SO much, honestly after steem infrastructure is built up and steem price goes up, we will all be making MORE including authors even with what appears like a paycut, its really just repositioning funds to be more efficient since a lot fo those rewards already go to projects that help steem, but in a haphazard way and now it can be much more direct ...
I mean Imagine, @jesta could actually apply for direct funds from the blockchain to pay for his development of the @vessel desktop wallet, for example... and that woulkd free @ned to just vote with his vote on the proposal, the reward pool pays it out to the projects he likes sine ce his votes are most influential, then ist much better playng field when trying to reach ned, otherwise people see a big problem and percieve it as micro corruption the way Ned only hangs out with a select minority of whales, which is good since he cant be wasting his time but theres too many good ideas that are being passed up BUT they dont have tiem to go through them all BUt ned DOES have the money to FUND them all, at least somewhat, and thats why these projects will do SO well with small amounts of steem like when I apply to get $100 and $1000 proposals where all the money will go into pay for steem ads that will run Ad content designed by volunteeres on the blockchain, and we vote on which ads are best, mostly still images at first, and then i send them out to all the steem friendly advertising services for the $100 and $1000 i can get and then i also explore much more cost effective manual ways to use that money, where it requires volunteers spending the money in a way that becomes a Force Multiplier
so for every $1 the steem proposal system gives me i will have to give the results of 10 maen and I plan on doing that with excited volunteers who will adct as the employees while the funds ALL go to bare bones Hardeware and supplies that will allow for 10 times the normal Ad Impressions by doingthings ourselves... so eventually I will be getting proposals where I ask for $500 to build a portable manned advertising backpack and have local steem volunteers in every city take turns walking around at night projecting steem logo onto side sopf buildings (Liek I saw ta comiccon being done ina very small portsablke backpack lasting many hours, with a guy in all black spandex standing on corners beingpaid to just p[roject the video... stuff like that would allow us to get a LOt for our money.. instead of paying for ads which is fun and cool for an automation point of viuew to build stuff like that into the blockchain, but i cant wait to fund human projects like the project backpack ads and also printing enough steem signs for all teh existing steemians who lalready can provide FREE ad space in their small busienss or home or even car, for example MANy steemians would lOVE to place a Wrap or large steem/bitcoin sticker on their car, for free, which nirmally peopel do have to pay a lot of money to do,m but we can just create proposals to basically buy the raw materials for the wraps, the stickers and just ship those out to steemians who apply for the volnteership.... honestly that would earn someoen a lot of future upvotes if they had a giant steem sticker they volunteere dto have on their car
see many peopel on steem would love to do stuff like this , liek me, but i cant justify spoendiong my money anymro eon stuff like that with post payouts so low and me unable to make the money back so proposal funds form this upvoming proposal system would cut the bullshit that happens on the social blogchain sometimes, and allows patrons and whales to fund tehr favorite peopleand let everyoen see thos eprojects instea dof them being hidden away
sorry for the typos but I feel I made a big breakthrough here just now as i JUSt now figured out how i coudl sue teh advertising projector backback but mroe imporrantly, simply payingf or big steem stickers for cars opwned by steemians who will volunteer to leave the sticker on indefninitely or as long as steem is profitable etc lol maybe a few years is good enough but we can really find all the existings teemians who we KNOW would keep those sticker son theri cars, ship them out, and the blockchain can pay for that so much mroe efificiently wit a proposal system instead of peopel having to dig through burried treausre to find the good posts in between meme posts
peopel's blogs on steemit need to have folders so peopel can seperate their silly posts form theri serious ones... i feel liek we have lost some common sense organizational tactics because of this... in a way steemit has hiunmdered us and mad eus so stupdi for so long, we lacked so much stimulation on this fornt end, we were promised so much and just the terrible GUi needs to be updated STAT time really does feel liek ist running out
so we nee dthe proposal system to give steem one last chance to give peopel liek me the TINY bit of money i ned to go promote steem, or make apps, or whatever,m

You convinced me in your DEADBEAT DAD post that he could have been doing so much. Even a few 1% votes per day could have changed the attitudes and platitudes of many on and off the chain!

The idea is to put the coin in more hands.
Ned crushed that by giving us proof of wallet.
Rewards have suffered ever since because of abuse facilitated by removing the 4 post soft cap, 4x vote value, and killing the n2 keeping stake in fewer accounts.
Now abusive whales just spread out to blend in better.
The sooner steemizens take their fate in their own hands the better, imo.

Funding should be via increased inflation and steemits stake. That was the original intend. The development of steem

Really what ned does with his stake is none of my business.
If he asked my opinion I would tell him I think he should delegate more not less, just do it for short periods of time.
I would also tell him he would have a better time attracting investors and business owners if we create more stake holders.
So, yes I would be fine with him using his stake however he wants.

Problem is @ned cares a LOT about what we all think when it comes to how he should spend his stake/ use his stake. so we NEED to tell him what we THINK he should do, not tell hiom what to do
but yeah he needs our suggestions because when youre in powerone gets paralysis by analysis
