By this poll post, I write about a very unfamiliar service/application on the steem blockchain.

The website here is steemfollower.com which happens to be a project founded by @mahdiyari

The name can be misleading as recent updates made the website to have nothing to do with followers or followings on Steem.

Steemfollower is simply an upvote exchange platform where a user's latest post becomes visible for other to upvote it.

You can simply check out the website to see some big names among the top earners.

Yeah, I know that. It's like get noticed to many. But as the vote amount you will give you will get back similar amount in total.
That's my long observation. That's why I don't use it anymore. But sometimes like in a week used to give it a look.

Yeah, I understand you. It's not a problem for me because I'm already popular user. The few dolphins there are already familiar with me and often upvote my posts.

I sometimes buy points very cheap to boost my post by promoting it while making a some profit out of the action.

I have seen their home page and the video and couldn't understand what this site was. Vote exchange? Vote selling? Group curating club?

It's more of a vote exchange platform. The video is very much outdated as it doesn't deal with followings anymore. There's no harm in login and see what it looks like.
