dPoll Do you look at Trending on STEEM?

Are you a reader or watcher of STEEM’s trending page? I’m not. I have only looked at it a few times in 2 years. I am normally looking in tags, bounties, dPolls and to my friends here if I have a shortage of posts to read.

From what I understand, Trending used to be full of bidboted posts and now it is full of people talking about STEEM.

I came across this recent post by @enjar who does not seem to be impressed with how trending looks these days:

I Gave Reading Trending Page Feed A Try

And this is what sparks my dPoll question today.

Do you read the trending page on STEEM?
Do you find it useful?

Please give me any more information in your comment. I want to hear from you.

I looked at it a few times, so I rarely/occasionally look at it, and I more rarely click links.

I mostly go to look at the trending page when people start saying how bad or how good the trending page looks at any given time. Otherwise, it's out of sight, out of mind.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who isn't so thrilled with the "new" trending page. I also noticed that some more prominent/highly thought of users were at the top, and while some of them did not, a few of them appeared to still get there by a bidbot or two. The problem now is, the bidbots are curating, so who knows what's what.

So, anyway, an organic trending page is still a ways away, and as it is, I'm not sure who keeps going there, but I don't think it's worth the attention it gets, even if it does manage to work out the way people want it to. Really, I'm hoping Communities will make the overall trending page obsolete, because in the communities themselves, the content that is best will rise.

I don't know. I'm not holding my breath, but at least we have something we can try that we might see here in the next few months.
