I noticed two things over there, @glenalbrethsen. First, you cannot see the curation reward separate from the post payouts. And second, we do not have the 50/50 payout, unless I am missing it in a setting somewhere. So we have to stake all the payout if we want to. I am going to claim my payouts once a week and maybe just stake half. Not sure yet. What if the price moons one day? I would want to get some out without having to power down.

Yeah, I haven't gone looking at code, either. 50/50 creator/curator is what I've been told is happening, along with a curve that is something like 1.05 and a free downvote. So, PALnet is supposed to have a version of the EIP we're going to get in HF21.
I haven't come up with a strategy with PAL yet as far as staking and such. Most of what I have is staked right now, but I like the idea of liquidity, too. I understand what SP is supposed to do, but it's not SP that's being traded, and it's not SP being used to buy goods and services in the limited fashion that exists now. So, I like the idea of being paid in the token, and then deciding what to do with it as opposed to having payment come as all or half SP.

Hmm. I see your point there. I claim the money once a week and thought I would stake it all. But even though it is small, I'm not sure staking is the right thing to do, so I held off after staking the airdrop.

I think with the rewards in decimals now, we can see better if our upvotes are affecting someone's post or not, so staking more might mean something. That said, I think I'm going to hold onto the PAL I'm building for now and maybe power up some of it at a certain point, so I can see what PAL does in price.
