Do you want to see a co-op game on Steem? [SBI shares for top 3 comments!]
We all like to see more dApps built on Steem. So far there are quite a few of them as seen on State of the dApps. Recently, a new dApp game is also announced to be migrating from Ethereum to Steem. They are spearheading the #switchtosteem movement, which is really nice.
However, in terms of games, we have only seen games that are more competitive in nature. For example, Splinterlands (previously known as Steem Monsters), Drugwars and more recently NextColony.
Steem being a social community, I thought it will be nice to have a co-operative game where players unite to fight against the environment (PvE). I am thinking of starting a game of such nature and will like to see if there will be enough interest. So here is just an interest check.

I think all ideas are open at this time. We are in the wild, wild west of blockchain and you never know what will be a hit.
I do not play games myself, but I live in SE Asia were many people do. I notice people getting together and playing the same game on their phones. They can see each other in there and are very entranced by it. Those of us not on the phone and game might as well be invisible. So if this is what you are talking about - go for it. You might be a big hit :)

I am not much of a games person. But I remember two games that was once very popular was Farm Ville and Candy Crush. Maybe something like that would also attract people to Steemit. They don't have to post anything, just play games to earn cryptocurrency.

Yup. I am in fact thinking of something even simpler for a start. Players just need to play once everyday and wait for the results. Much like the idle farming games that are hugely popular these days

I like to see any kind of game on the Steem blockchain, as long as the game is fair, fun and enjoyable.
A co-op game similar to World of Warcraft, Metin 2, or even to some first person shooters, for example Counter-Strike, Left 4 Dead, Overwatch, Paladins would be nice/good.
But my favorite type of game would probably be a moba game on the Steem blockchain.
A moba game similar to Dota 2, League of Legends, and Heroes of the Storm.
The game could be either PvE (Player versus Environment) or PvP (or Player versus Player), or both.
Like you can also play (most of) the above games against the computer, and against real players.

Without any doubt Cooperative games should be developed because these types of games become so crazy that it will be remembered for a long time.
For example, COUNTER STRIKE which is played these days too and in my opinion it's one of the vastly adopted game and i too have great memories with it when we were playing it in Multiplayer Mode.
And without any doubt step by step Steem is becoming Gaming Community too and definitely it will attract more users and gaming is the one way through which we can move towards Mass Adoption and no reason to mention specifically why it will.
So @culgin definitely your point is appreciable and let's hope that in near future we can expect one of the cooperative game and move towards one more forward step.

Sense of community can be a breath of fresh air as all existing games are focusing on going solo against opponents. @drugwars have gangs and they are developing some gang missions. But that will take some time to release.
Breeding cooperation through gaming is a good thin. I'd love to see a PvE co-op game where nobody has to work against human users.
