Bitcoin Gold (Bitfinex: BTGUSD) has broken out of the triangle pattern in the four-hour chart.

Elliott Wave Analysis

In Elliott Wave terms, BTG began a wave one advance on December 17, 2019. The red wave one (blue sub-waves i-ii-iii-iv-v) finished on January 15 this year, and the red wave two (blue sub-waves a-b-c) correction ended on January 24. If this wave count is correct, BTG should be heading next towards the January 15 peak in the red wave three.

BTG is a cryptocurrency with Bitcoin fundamentals, mined on common GPUs instead of specialty ASICs. Kiana Danial interviewed the co-founder back in October 2019.
