Which course format would you prefer?
I have created a second Steem account called @SteemEnglish. Over the last few days I have been thinking about how to utilize that account better so that I can provide simple English lessons over the Steem blockchain.
One of the challenges I am facing is determining the best way to receive responses back from my students when I asked them questions to test their knowledge.
I have thought of a few possible solutions:
Allow Users To Write Free Form Responses On One of the Steem Front-ends. This is one of the simplest ways to allow the user to respond. It is more complicated to for me as the instructor as I try to manage all of the responses. It does not allow for hidden responses so students could "cheat" by viewing other people's response.
I Write Comments That Contain The Correct Answers. This is easier to manage for me, but does not give the flexibility for the users to think of the answer by themselves. Users would choose the answer they agree with by commenting under the appropriate comment. A user could still base his or her response on how other people answered the question.
Ask Users To Provide Answers Via Private Discord Messages Or Hidden Steem Wallet Transfers. This option allows a user to determine the correct answer on his or her own. Of course, if someone choose to use outside resources they could still do so, but this option would eliminate some temptation. Adding this step would significantly increase the complexity of the process, and the desired result of hidden messages might still not happen is someone posts a comment as usual.
Use dPoll. This is my first time to use dPoll, but I figured I should include it as a possible solution. dPoll provides structure for responses and tools to track how people respond. Again there is no anonymity.

I think dPoll is a viable solution, they are trying to improve at an incredible pace, and might be the easiest and simple way for everybody to feel comfortable with.

There is a part of the course I want to develop that will definitely benefit from dPoll. I think I will need to use some other solutions as well, but I look forward to utilizing dPoll.

I might be biased but I think dpoll is more suited or private discord messages just to avoid copy work!
