China and mining: recent news. Poll: are you concerned?

In the past days the National Development and Reform Commission (China's central state planner) included mining in a list/proposal of 450 wasteful and hazardous activities that can be eliminated.

China already banned ICOs and cryptocurrency trading, so it would not be surprising if it decided to ban mining, too. Mining, in fact, is really expensive in terms of electricity.

So, for now, it is just a possibility, but I bet that around the web you have already seen many articles with titles like "CHINA BANS MINING?!" and also a lot of fud...

But what's your opinion? Are you concerned?
