Browser didn't seem to want to play it, was it an mp4?
But if you copy the link to the video and load it into a video player like VLC/etc. then you can watch it, so you know it's there :D

    Playing alright for me on chrome in ubuntu 17.10
    I see FireFox complaining about mime type
    mp4 next time. Otherwise, I think I have it figured out. Thanks again for your help!

      Oh, d'oh, it does work in chrome, i was checking in firefox, i switch between them a bunch. Welcome, glad it works!
