WRITING TIPS.

  1. Drafting.
This follows prewriting and it consists of exploring and developing your ideas and gathered information, then, writing them down in a sentence format.

Tips for Drafting:
I) Write down your draft very quickly or slowly. Choose the most suitable method, that works best for you.

II) Whichever method you chose to adopt, please do not focus on details but focus on the key and major ideas. Circle or outline minor points that need more work.

III) Please refer to your prewriting notes as you draft. Do away with unrelated topics but stick to your main idea and topic.

IV) Keep your purpose and target audience in view and in your mind, as you write. Omit any part of your outline that does not work and align with your purpose.

V) Be flexible:
If better ideas flashed into your mind as you draft and write, be free to switch lane and change direction, towards achieving your purpose for writing.
