Remote controlled living dragonflies

Small life is being genetically modified and turned into drones, will you just sit by and allow this?

“Scientists” at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory and Howard Hughes Medical Institute have taken it upon themselves to modify tiny creatures, in this case dragonflies, and turn them into remote controlled drones.

DragonflEye was created by genetically modifying regular dragonflies with "steering neurons" in the insect's spinal cord, which are light sensitive. Tiny, fiber-optic-like structures in the dragonfly's eyes send pulses of light to their brains, functionally controlling where the insect flies via remote control.

Please, don't assume we are living in the same world as we always have. Take a look around, technology has advanced so far, so fast. You can allow yourself to be entertained and distracted from the part you are playing in it all, or, you might you consider that you don't know everything and get curious.

Great for intelligence gathering.
I always wonder when I see a dragonfly, what is controlling the flying insect.

Well, for now you can look for the little backpack the poor things wear, if the reports are to be believed. Give them time though, they'll shrink it down.

Thank you for reading.

Bet, they have their ways!

Is there nothing sacred left on our planet? Must they try to control and destroy everything.

People in the position to do these kinds of experiments need to start asking themselves 'should we do this' not just 'can we do it'.

Thank you for sharing, Mom!

Sharing is the way we spread the message about the atrocities being put on our world.

only to ensure that ultimately they destroy themselves...and our future generations along with them

I have to wonder what goes through someone's mind and what kind of person they are to even come up with a deplorable idea like this.

Science and experimentation is important for national security, sustainability, and many advancements.
If you think about what really goes on in the name of science, it sounds like you'd be sickened.
The dragonflies don't have large devices attached when used.
PS: when they cloned sheep and announced it to the worlds public, how many other species do you think were already cloned. Humans have been cloned many times over. It's funny many don't recall how it wasn't long ago scientists had to dig up grave-sites just to study human anatomy.
