DJ Woske illustration process

Yup, yet another illustration for DJ Woske

First the sketch; it was done off of a photo of him. I initially had the hat backwards and included eyes but it looked too anime-ish so I flipped it. I was going for a stylized look with sharp lines and angles

Up next is the inking

then Flat colors

The part of his shirt I colored blue was actually yellow in the reference photo but I didn't want to use yellow or red because of the closeness to the skin tones, and the red-brick background, and that’s why I picked blue

then lighting, shading, background and text
All done!
